Welcome to Serra!

You are cordially invited to become a member of The Saint Serra Apostolate!

WHAT IS SERRA?

Serra clubs are known worldwide for their efforts to foster and affirm Catholic vocations to the ministerial priesthood and vowed religious life. Serrans value not only their work, but also the sense of community they receive from knowing that they are not alone in their prayerful support of the men and women who have dedicated their lives in ministry and service to our Church.

With more than 1,100 clubs in 46 countries, Serrans number over 20,000 members around the globe and form an organization known as Serra International. Each Serra club is part of a vast network of clubs, district, regions and national councils that comprise Serra International the “Lay Vocation Arm of the Catholic Church.”

However, Serrans are likely to be just next door. Here in Colorado, our nine clubs are organized by Deanery. The Boulder Serra Club of Colorado serves the 14 Boulder Deanery parishes and the Denver Redemptoris Mater Seminary. Members are drawn from the parishes the club serves. Most Serra Clubs meet locally and usually twice a month. In addition, each club schedules vocation awareness and affirmation activities throughout the year.

Serrans are lay Catholics, men and women of all ages and from all walks of life dedicated to promoting, affirming and praying for priestly and religious vocations. An integral part of the Serra Club Mission is to encourage vocations ministry activities in our parishes.

There are many benefits to becoming a Serran.
